FAQs
-
What is counselling?Counselling provides a safe and confidential therapeutic space for you to talk to a trained professional, who will listen to you without judgement about your issues and concerns and help you to explore your thoughts and emotions, with the aim to bring about positive change. It is a two way process. You need to find a counsellor that you can connect with, as it is important that the client and therapist build a strong rapport, it is the relationship that heals, and as you begin to trust you will find you are able to open up more to yourself.
-
What is integrative counselling? The counsellor can use different techniques from different types of therapies to tailor their approach specifically for the clients.
-
How can counselling help?In counselling you will go on a journey of self-discovery where you will become more self-aware, helping you to navigate through some of the difficulties life can challenge you with. It can improve emotional discomfort and help to build your self-esteem, empowering you to bring about change in a supported environment.

It is not a counselling session and we will not go in depth into your presenting issues, here I will find out a bit about you, to help us assess if we are the right person for each other.
